Imaging Spectrometer 240nm-1100nm

The MISS Spectrometer series gives access to the spatially resolved spectrum of your sources. With its unqiue compactness, the MISS allows vertical and horizontal spatial chirp measurements at any position of your beam path.


Mini Imaging Spatial Spectrometer (MISS) Usage 

MISS stands for Mini Imaging Spatial Spectrometer. This series can easily be integrated at different stages of amplified laser systems. Use it in free space mode to take benefit of the spatial resolution, or with a fiber input, like a regular spectrometer.


Spectrometer Applications 

A spectrometer allows you to know the spectrum for your laser, i.e. the intensity of each wavelength (or frequency) present in your laser. Most of spectrometers give an average spectrum, whilst an imaging spectrometer allows you to know the spectrum at different position inside the laser beam.

Our MISS spectrometer gives you a two dimensions image, one dimension being the position in one diameter of the beam, the other is the spectrum at this position.

2 Due to rolling shutter, the actual minimum exposure time to capture the whole beam will be limited by the beam size. The larger the beam, the longer the required minimum exposure time.

Option

Description

Enhanced detection

Replacement of the default camera   embedded in the MISS by a higher performance one to increase the   specifications of the system (better spectral and imaging resolution, single   pulse extraction up to 150 kHz)

Fiber input   connector

Plug & play fiber connector. Can   be mounted on the MISS to easily switch the input from free-space to fiber   and therefore us it as a standard spectrometer. No alignment required.

High dynamic   range

Software mode to increase the dynamic   of the MISS signal acquisition from 12 to 16 bits. Not compatible with pure   single-shot measurement as 2 images are necessary to build one spatially   resolved spectrum

Trigger

Synchronization of the MISS detection   to an external signal for accurate laser single pulse extraction up to 75 kHz   (150 kHz with the Enhanced detection option)
