Raman Fiber Amplifier

Distributed Fiber Raman Amplifier uses the Raman effect in quartz fiber to provide gain to optical signals and to achieve high gain and low noise amplification of optical signals in the C or L band. It can effectively compensate for the attenuation of optical signals in long-distance optical fiber transmission. It is often used in long-range optical transmission systems, distributed fiber sensing and intensive wave division multiplexed optical transmission systems.
