Sale Guide
If you need our technical team for guidance on product selection or customization, please help to provide below technical information, it helps to speed up the process.
Items Detail Unit Remark
What is your application scenario?      Power inspection, monitoring the operating status of high-temperature   equipment,  fire early warning, etc
What is the required spectral response   range?      SW/MW/LWIR
What is the temperature range you need to  measure?    eg: -20~500℃
What is the required resolution?      384*288/640*480/640*512/1280*1024, etc. For specific resolutions, please refer   to the detail page
What is the required thermal sensitivity   (NETD) ?   mK  NETD represents the instrument's ability to detect minute temperature   differences. A NETD<50mK indicates that a temperature difference of 0.05℃ can   be identified, and it is suitable for the detection of precision electronic instruments
What are the requirements for the focusing   function?      Manual or automatic, manual focusing is suitable for fixed distance measurement   in simple scenes. Autofocus is suitable for rapid scanning in complex scenes
What is the motion state of the measured  object?      Whether stationary or moving, the moving target requires a high frame rate to   avoid image trailing
Lens options?      Telephoto, macro and other lenses are available for selection
Selection suggestions      If high-temperature targets need to be measured or high precision is required, it   is recommended to give priority to shortwave measurement. For medium-   temperature targets or those with anti-interference requirements, medium-wave   should be selected. If it is a normal-temperature target and all-weather detection   is required, long-wave detection should be given priority.
What's the difference between an infrared   pyrometer and an infrared thermal imager?      Infrared pyrometers can only measure the temperature at a single point. By   detecting the infrared radiation energy at a certain point on the surface of an   object, it is converted into a temperature value through an algorithm, and the   measurement result is directly presented in digital form.
Infrared thermal imagers can measure surface temperature and generate a   thermal map of the temperature distribution on the surface of the object being   measured. They scan the infrared radiation energy at each point on the object to     form a two-dimensional thermal image, with each pixel corresponding to a   temperature value. The measurement results are presented.as pseudo-color or   grayscale images and superimposed with temperature data.
What's the difference between an infrared   thermal imager and an infrared camera?      Infrared thermal imagers receive the infrared radiation emitted by objects through   infrared detectors and generate thermal images of the temperature distribution on   the surface of the reflected objects, which can be displayed intuitively. The   temperature distribution on the surface of an object cannot present the detailed   features of the object; only the thermal profile of the object can be seen.
Infrared cameras are divided into passive infrared cameras and active infrared   cameras. The images they output are similar to those taken by ordinary cameras.   With the appearance and infrared features of black and white or color images, they   can present the general shape, outline and some detailed information of objects.
