90 Off-Axis Parabolic Mirrors

Mirrors are optical devices that reflect light. They are designed to reflect light for a variety of applications, including beam steering interferometry, imaging, or illumination. They are optimized for the proper wavelengths and are also designed for lasers, the damage thresholds that are suitable for the designated laser.


Metallic Mirrors consist of a good combination of performance and value for general purpose applications. They operate over a very broad spectral range from UV to visible, and visible to near – and mid-IR. They are relatively insensitive to angle of incidence and polarization, and their relatively wide bandwidth and high reflectivity makes them ideal for applications like spectroscopy. Metallic mirrors are widely used due to a moderate level of reflection over a very broad spectral range. Protected aluminum is an economical reflector over entire 300nm-IR range.
