The QCL Housing-100 system is a turnkey source of terahertz radiation that uses an integral Stirling Cycle cooler for cryogen-free and alignment-free operation.  A range of user interchangeable multimode QCL modules is available providing milliwatt  power levels at frequencies between 1.8 to 5 THz.  The QCL Housing-110 now has a multi-QCL option, which integrates up to four, automatically switched QCLs in the same system.

The LWP-PS3 power supply is designed to be a simple-to-use quantum cascade laser (QCL) driver. The front panel has a 4.3” touch-sensitive display and scroll when to adjust the pulse width, frequency and amplitude. The high, 100 V, maximum voltage allows the driving of QCL devices, which typically require higher voltages than other semiconductor lasers. The LWP-PS3 has been designed for ease of use and includes an integrated current monitoring output, a 5 V TTL output synchronization signal, and a TTL compatible gating input signal. The LWP-PS3 is programmable via standard USB virtual serial port. This architecture allows any software capable of using a serial port, to address the LWP-PS3.

QCL Housing-200 Ultra-Low Vibration Platform

The QCL Housing-200 system is an ultra-low vibration cryogen-free platform configurable for use with a variety of Terahertz Quantum Cascade Lasers. The system uses passive and active vibration damping to achieve vibration levels of <100 nm (RMS). A range of user interchangeable QCLs is available: electronically controlled tunable QCLs (single devices spanning 1.5 to 4.5 THz), multimode Fabry-Perot QCLs, and single-frequency DFB QCLs.

The QCL Housing-1000 system is our latest generation of turnkey terahertz Quantum Cascade Laser source, offering average power levels of up to 20mW* thanks to the more powerful Pulse Tube cryocooler. The system is configurable with a wide range of QCLs emitting at discrete frequencies between 1.9 and 5 THz in CW/pulsed and single/multimode. Multiple QCLs can be mounted in the same cooler (Multi-QCL option) and is available on request.
