Near-infrared region II (1000 - 1700 nm) optical imaging has great potential in the field of tumor diagnosis due to its advantages of extremely low tissue autofluorescence, low light absorption and scattering, high tissue penetration depth, high resolution and high signal-to-noise ratio.

Chroma NIR filters use an advanced magnetron sputtering coating process with high transmittance, high cut-off depth, and high spectral steepness to provide the best signal-to-noise ratio for NIR imaging.
