Microscopic Hyperspectral Imager | SIMTRUM Photonics Store

Microscopic Hyperspectral Imager
SIMTRUM'S HY-50 series microscopic hyperspectral imagers are integrated precision devices specially launched for microscopic measurement applications. The device combines an automatic push-broom hyperspectral system with a microscope. With the help of the optical path system of the microscope, it can realize the imaging spectrum acquisition of samples within the microscopic field of view without pushing and sweeping the samples. It can obtain high-spectral information while acquiring fine spatial images of samples. It will have extremely broad application prospects in various microscopic measurement application fields such as biomedicine, material analysis, life sciences, and evidence analysis.

Features
  • Enables high-magnification observation and hyperspectral imaging in combination with objectives of different magnifications
  • Equipped with a full-spectrum lighting source, it is universal for both transmission and reflection, meeting the requirements of high-spectrum professional lighting
  • Standard microscope interfaces and adapters enable connection with any trinocular microscope
  • Boasts high spatial and spectral resolutions
  • Eyepiece observation, visible-light camera, and hyperspectral share the same field of view, allowing clear observation of the measurement area for quick focusing, and simultaneous acquisition of visible-light photos and hyperspectral images, what you see is what you get

Applications
  • Life medicine: Cell classification, cancer tissue screening, drug research and development, pathological research
  • Biology: Bacterial and cellular analysis
  • Materials science: Microscopic detection and identification of materials
  • Forensic industry: Trace evidence and document examination
  • Electronics industry: Semiconductor detection, screen inspection, etc

Pathological analysis and pathological research

What is the motion state of the object being measured? Motion/static?
What is the required frame rate? Moving objects require a high frame rate; otherwise, there will be ghosting when shooting
What is the required data interface? USB /GigE port
Is a lighting source needed?

The core of hyperspectral imaging is to obtain the reflection information of the target object at different wavelengths. Under low-light conditions, an external light source is required for illumination. Meanwhile, external light source illumination can provide more uniform and stable light, avoiding the dark differences and spectral distortion of the image caused by uneven illumination. The lighting source can be selected as: halogen lamp /LED light source

Is a reflectance board needed?

The function of a reflectance board is to provide a calibration reference for hyperspectral data, ensuring the accuracy and traceability of spectral reflectance data.Since there are usually certain differences in reflectance measured by different devices and at different times, after calibration with a reflectance board, the spectral data of the same target collected by different cameras/times can be directly compared. That is: The function of the reflectance board is to enable the quantification of hyperspectral data.
