Designed for applications requiring external light shielding, the SIM-MAFW series offers a manual cage-mounted filter wheel solution with a protective housing to block ambient light. This product is particularly suitable for sensitive measurement systems utilizing PMT detectors.Compact and robust, the filter wheel can be securely mounted on any standard optical table.

Depending on the model, it accommodates 6/8/10 filter slots and is fully compatible with 30 mm cage systems, meeting the demands of complex experimental and detection setups.The filter channel indexing provides clear tactile feedback. For effortless operation, the wheel edge features grooves to facilitate smooth manual rotation. Installation is straightforward, and once integrated into the optical system, users can instantly and precisely switch filters by manually rotating the wheel. Additionally, an indicator window on the housing allows quick identification of the current filter channel without opening the cover.

The SIM-FWM, SIM-MAFW, and SIM-MAFWM series were designed with the concept of interchangeable components across the product line. This allows users to easily upgrade, for example, from a SIM-MAFWM-S to a SIM-MAFWM-D, a SIM-MAFW, or even a SIM-FWM.

The integrated cover plate serves a dual purpose: enabling filter switching and providing direct access for filter replacement without the need for screws.
• Compatibility:  Equipped with SM1 internal threading, the filter wheel accepts Ø25.4 mm filters (max. thickness: 5 mm; 6.35 mm for 8/10-slot versions). Compatible with 30 mm cage systems and M6 posts.
