The SIMTRUM Magnet Optical Switch series operates on the Magneto-Optic Effect, enabling microsecond-level ultra-high-speed optical path switching. As an all-solid-state design with no moving parts, it completely eliminates mechanical wear, achieving exceptional reliability and an ultra-long operational lifetime (up to 10 billion cycles). This series utilizes pulse voltage drive instead of continuous power, offering advantages of low energy consumption and minimal heat generation. Its Fail-safe Latching feature ensures the optical path state is maintained after power loss, making it particularly suitable for cutting-edge applications with extreme demands on switching speed, endurance, and stability.
