High power measurements are often performed using thermopile detectors. Thermopiles however, have the disadvantage of reacting very slowly  typical rise times lead to measurement periods of 1 second at best. The combination of an integrating sphere and a photodiode-based power meter opens the possibility of measuring high power fluctuations on a µs time scale. This can be useful for setting up and debugging high-power CW lasers. These spheres may be combined with our power meters via fiber coupling or via a photodiode port. Just plug it into your USB port and start measuring!

25mm Gold Integrating Sphere 

25mm gold integrating spheres are designed for high-power applications in the near to mid-infrared (NIR and MIR). These quality spheres provide exceptional power handling capability with air-cooled and liquid-cooled versions to choose from. These convection-cooled gold spheres are designed for mid-power laser applications in the near to mid-infrared (NIR and MIR). They provide good power handling capability up to 10W (CW). The back plate of the sphere is lapped and coated for mounting to liquid or forced air-cooled cold plates. With a suitable cold plate, the sphere can withstand up to 100W (CW) power.

65mm Gold Integrating Sphere 

65mm gold integrating spheres are designed for high-power applications in the near to mid-infrared (NIR and MIR). These quality spheres provide exceptional power handling capability with air-cooled and liquid-cooled versions to choose from. These convection-cooled gold spheres are designed for mid-power laser applications in the near to mid-infrared (NIR and MIR). They provide good power handling capability up to 40W (CW). 100mm Liquid Cooled Gold Integrating Sphere 

100mm gold integrating spheres is designed for high-power laser applications in the near to mid-infrared (NIR and MIR) and it provides power handling capability up to 5kW (CW) and a high-power density of 5kW/cm². These quality spheres provide exceptional power handling capability with air cooled and liquid-cooled versions to choose from.

SIMTRUM offers two types of sensor head Free beam and Fiber coupled, Wtih various diode materials allow measurement from 250nm to 2500nm. Silicon sensor wavelength range covers 250nm -110nm , Gemanium sensor wavelength range covers 800nm-1500nm, InGaAs sensor wavelength range covers 400-2500nm. The calibration file of each head is stored into its connector. Thus, changing wavelength range is as simple as swapping heads. 

Optical Density Filter Choice 

We offer caliberated attenuation filters which extend the range of free beam heads by up to three orders of magnitude. Power range cover from 1nW to 300mW
