SIMTRUM Provides Erbium doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA) for fiber lasers and fiber optic communication consisting of C- or L- Band signal light. The C-Band(conventional band) is the region between 1530-1565nm.The L-Band(long-wavelength) is the region between 1565-1652nm and is the second lowest-loss wavelength band. It is an alternative when C-band is insufficient to meet the bandwidth demand.
SIMTRUM offers desktop EDFA allowing users to set pump current or output power from the front panel, as well as OEM EDFA module for system integration. Both desktop EDFA and OEM EDFA support on-computer software control or serial command control.
